Dr. R.D. Evans Memorial
Shaped stone on base set within wrought-iron railings. Two plaques with inscriptions on north face of memorial.
Dr. R.D. Evans was a local doctor who practised in the area for fifty years and died in 1924. The other plaque on the memorial commemorates his son, Dio, who was killed in the Great War in 1916. The englyn (stanza) was written especially for Dio by Ellis Evans, otherwise known as Hedd Wyn, commemorated at Trawsfynydd who was himself killed in action in 1917.
