Type Sculpture
Male and female leaning bronze figures on circular stone base. Male with left arm outstretched, looking down at female figure. Lower part of bodies merge and form a 'cloak' effect. The sculpture described the sense of movement as 'suggestive of the prow of a boat.' The sculpture was the winner of the 1988 Maritime Sculpture Competition sponsored by the City of Swansea and J. Sainsbury PLC as part of the development around the former South Docks and Half-Tide Basin.
