William Penfro Rowlands Memorial

Shaped piece of polished slate with inscription set on circular local stone base with further slate inscription tablet set into one side.
The inscription tablet states in English and Welsh that the memorial was the inspiration of local people wishing to honour one of their community. It was unveiled by John Elfed Jones, CBE, DL, Chairman of Welsh Water plc in March 1998. The memorial is situated near Rowlands' birthplace.

Incised on back of stone: TREFORYS (next to image of church/organ?? Difficult to tell from photograph) / BLAEN WERN followed by four lines of music from the hymn
