Pengam Pocket Park


Type Landscape , Sculpture

     Large circular coloured brick mosaic in centre of park with six small standing stones around perimeter of area. Stones and mosaic depict images associated with local area, ie anchor, airship, schools and insignia of Rover car company.
     Cardiff Bay Arts Trust which was established in 1990 as part of a policy on public art set out by Cardiff Bay Development Corporation. Over the first decade CBAT has worked with public institutions, private corporations and with the local community to enrich the experience for those who visit, live and work in the area. Following the wind up of CBDC, Cardiff Bay Arts Trust became CBAT The Arts & Regeneration Agency and continues to operate UK wide and internationally.
