     Iron coal dram on rails set on square concrete base within a garden. Adjacent stone plinth with inscription in English and Welsh.
     Information at the site in English and Welsh states that Taff Ely Borough Council dedicated the garden to the memory of local miners in recognition of their contributions to the Park. The dram was donated by Big Pit Blaenafon
     Ynysangharad Park is Pontypridd's war memorial. The grounds were purchased by public subscription in 1922 and placed in trust for the people of Pontypridd and district as a war memorial and place of public recreation. The dram commemorates the contributions made by local miners towards the Park.
