As the Crow Flies (Woodlands Milestone)


     A small rotund bird with an arrow (pointing northwest) in its right claw, standing on an inscribed base
     Commissioned by the Woodlands Festival Committee as part of the Glasgow Milestones project. The Woodlands Milestone project was co-ordinated by Sean Taylor, Woodlands community artist (1)


The base is inscribed in six languages with the distance in miles as flown by the crow from West Princes Street to various countries, including: PARIS 502 / ROME 1228 / SINGAPORE 6933 Distances to other planets are also inscribed
