The design though abstract contains elements that can be seen as organic,(a stream, a leaf) or industrial, (pipework). The clarity of the individual elements as well as the composition recalls the Purist search for ideal form.(1)
This piece was commissioned for the Faculty of Arts by the Elsie May Taylor Bequest with financial assistance form West Midlands Arts.
