     A stone boulder stands on a concrete base in front of two wooden vertical elements, one slightly taller than the other, which have been cut obliquely at the top. On each upright is a triangle of wood on which a plaque has been nailed.


On one plaque: This sculpture/is a celebration/of the work of artist/Paul Caton/working in partnership/with children from/local schools and/Madeley Court Hotel./It is also a lasting tribute to/Angela Draper,/past Headteacher of/ Woodside Infant School,/who was held/in high esteem/by us all. The other reads: More than/350 school children/from the/following schools/ helped to create/this sculpture://Alexander Fleming Infants School/Alexander Fleming Junior School/Coalbrookdale and Ironbridge Primary School/Haughton School/John Fletcher Junior School/John Randall Primary School/Madeley County Infants School/Madeley Nursery School/St Mary's R.C.
