     Bronze bust of Lloyd George on a tall stone plinth set on a circular slate base.
     The Lloyd George Museum was opened on 30 May 1960 and the bust of Lloyd George was placed on the lawn in front of the Museum at the opening ceremony.
     David Lloyd George (1863-1945). Liberal politician. MP for Caernarfon 1890-1945. Chancellor of the Exchequer 1908-15. Prime Minister 1916-22. Created Earl Lloyd George of Dwyfor in the year of his death. After the death of his first wife, Margaret, he married his secretary, Frances Stevenson, in 1943.

Related works : The Imperial War Museum has a bust of Lloyd George by Kathleen Scott dated 1924. There is a statue in Castle Square, Caernarfon, see GWYNEDD001, and opposite the National Museum in Cardiff, see CARDIFF036.
