Type War Memorial

     Large block of granite with black marble tablet bearing names of men from Cardiff killed in the Falkland Islands campaign in 1982.


Inscription on black marble tablet, letters incised and painted white: IN / MEMORY OF THE MEN / OF THE / CITY OF CARDIFF followed by six names, one from the Royal Navy and six from the Welsh Guards KILLED IN ACTION / FALKLAND ISLANDS / CAMPAIGN / 1982 / IN THE CAUSE OF / FREEDOM.
