Multi-coloured glass mosaic depicting historic and contemporary forms of transport and also commemorating local industry and landscape.
'Transport' is one of a number of art projects commissioned for the Taff Trail. The 55 mile Trail runs from Cardiff to Brecon. The idea was originally launched in 1988 with the vision of creating a safe and attractive long-distance footpath and cycle way. The project was co-ordinated by the Merthyr and Cynon Groundwork Trust, and a range of organisations including local authorities, private enterprise and the voluntary sector.
