Statue of Edward Thring


Type Statue

     Thring is represented seated on an ornate chair, dressed in head master's gown. He looks to his right. In his right hand he holds a book, his index finger inserted between the pages. His left arm rests along the arm of the chair, his hand folded over the end. The ornate high-backed chair is decorated on each side with a cherub carved in relief.
