'Fame'

Summary

Type Sculpture , Statue

     Small statue of 'Fame' blowing a bugle with one hand and holding a bugle in the other.
     The stone and lead artefacts in the garden were articles brought from Rostherne Manor at the time of its demolition. The statue of 'Fame' was found in the cellar of the house. It was restored and placed on its present plinth.(1)
