The Traveller

Summary

Type Sculpture , Street Furniture

This simple figure of a standing man is shown with his left arm raised as if to hail a bus and carrying a rolled-up newspaper in his right hand. There is a briefcase between his feet. No clothing is indicated, but the figure does not appear to be a nude. It stands on a wooden base on the top of a Centro information stand for bus timetables.
